The deadline has now passed for submissions to Dactyl's second issue, Time And Space. We're currently squirrelled away, working on our shortlist, and hope to contact successful submitters at the beginning of June. We're also delighted to announce that Dactyl 1 is now stocked in the wonderful Golden Hare Books in Edinburgh's Grassmarket. Please do go along for a browse - it's a beautiful shop and well worth a visit!

Dactyl at the
Dalriada 5 April 2014 -------------------- Yup, the Dactyl team have been out & about, unchaperoned and let loose with a manic gleam in the eye and access to many coloured chalks. We showcased Issue 1 at the 26 present event, held at the Dalriada Bar on Saturday 5 April. We had lots of customers, a host of positive comments about Lost & Found and really seemed to generate some buzz around Issue 2. We are indecently excited to begin shortlisting... |
Dactyl Launch Night! 30 November 2013 ------------------------------------------- Thanks to all our contributors and supporters for making our launch evening at Summerhall so wonderful. We toasted Dactyl's first issue with seemingly limitless booze and awesome cake, and were regaled with tales of troublesome unicorns, the Black Museum, and a recalcitrant dog named Elmo. The event overran by 90 minutes as nobody wanted to leave. Amazing! |
